Amazon's Transportation Operations team is seeking highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialists to assist in the management of daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area. An ideal candidate has a background in transportation and excellent customer service skills. He/she has the ability to coordinate between multiple parties to ensure high levels of customer service. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high pressure environment. Job Description: · Supports freight operations by ensuring smooth shipments. · Analyzes data to improve efficiency and eliminate defects. · Communicates with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues. · Executes processes to meet standard work expectations. · Develops performance metrics to drive business results.
