Paid Summer Internship- MHA


The Judge Rotenberg Educational Center, Inc. (JRC) is a day and residential school located in Canton, Massachusetts, licensed to serve ages five through adult. Since 1971, JRC has provided very effective education and treatment to both emotionally disturbed students and clients with conduct, behavior, emotional, and/or psychiatric problems, as well as those with intellectual disabilities or on the autism spectrum.
Jumpstart your career with our Paid Summer Internship working as a Mental Health Assistant at the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center. We offer flexible schedules to meet the needs of your availability, offer excellent benefits and incentive pay for weekends, overnight shifts and work at assignments managing difficult environments. 
This is a non-exempt hourly position with very flexible work hours.


Requirements:
•    High School Diploma
•    Proof of College enrollment in field related to Human Services 


Salary 
Part time 32 or 24: $18.00 to $23.00/hourly
Full time: $20.00 to $26.00/hourly

    Physical Demands of Position:

    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
    • 20/20 vision or correctable to 20/20 with corrective lenses.
    • Ability to stand and walk for at least 80% of the workday.
    • Ability to sit for at least 20% of the workday.
    • Position involves kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, crawling, and handling during the treatment process.
    • Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
    • Normal depth perception is required.
    • All entry level staff may be required to work both weekend days and all holidays.
