Automotive Technician - Entry Level
Lighthouse is looking for an individual who exudes a servant heart, has a good work ethic with outstanding communication skills. Entry level Technicians begin with 12 months of work in Quick Service. After that time, strong performers will have the opportunity to apprentice and upskill as an Auto Technician, learning new systems and diagnostic tools, and working towards their ASE certifications. The shop environment is fast-paced, great teamwork skills are a must, as well as a high attention to detail. As a technician, you will be responsible for servicing our guests' vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $24.00 per Hour
Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM M-F

Essential Duties:
  • Check and communicate oil level to other Teammates
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
  • Complete vehicle inspection.
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
  • Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable.
  • Perform Maintenance Items.
  • Greet all guests, in a professional, pleasant manner.
  • Other miscellaneous duties.

Education and/or Experience:
  • One of the following:
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • One to three months related experience and/or training.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidates with previous automotive repair experience preferred.
