About Nomad

At Nomad eCommerce, we build ecommerce solutions that connect online stores with the business systems our customers rely on every day. As an Entry-Level Connector Developer, you'll help create and maintain the integrations that allow orders, inventory, pricing, customers, and other critical business data to flow seamlessly between ecommerce platforms and ERP systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career developer looking to build a career in software engineering. You'll receive hands-on mentoring while working alongside experienced developers and project managers on real client implementations.

Every project is different, offering opportunities to solve technical challenges, expand your development skills, and gain exposure to enterprise software used by manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers around the world.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain software connectors using C# and .NET.
  • Build and troubleshoot REST API integrations.
  • Write SQL queries to retrieve and validate data.
  • Assist with mapping and transforming data between JSON, XML, CSV, and database formats.
  • Test integrations using Postman and internal tools.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and assist with resolving production support tickets.
  • Work closely with developers, ERP consultants, and project managers to deliver customer solutions.
  • Document integration processes and technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Continue developing technical knowledge through mentoring and hands-on project experience.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, likes working with data, and wants to grow as a software developer.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience programming in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or another object-oriented language.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Understanding of JSON and XML.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Personal, academic, or internship projects involving APIs.
  • Experience with Git or GitHub.
  • Experience using Postman.
  • Exposure to .NET development.
  • Exposure to ERP or ecommerce systems.
  • Understanding of software debugging techniques.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Why Join Nomad?

You'll work on real-world software projects that directly impact our customers while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers. If you're looking for a place where you can build your technical skills, contribute meaningful work, and grow your career, we'd love to hear from you.
