Job description

A well established insurance carrier with a long track record of stability is looking to add a Medical Stop Loss professional to its underwriting team in Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity to join a small, close knit team with a manager who has been promoted multiple times and is now looking to build out support.

This role is fully in office, five days a week in Cincinnati, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

What you will do

You will work closely with the underwriting manager on specific and aggregate stop loss business, supporting pricing, risk assessment, and case management for self funded and level funded health plans. You will have direct exposure to senior leadership given the size of the team, and a clear line of sight to future progression as the business continues to grow.

What you need

Prior experience in medical stop loss underwriting is required. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a small team, and be willing to relocate to Cincinnati if not already based there.
