ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Perform legal tasks and projects, as assigned by the Field Supervisor, aligned with the learning objectives of the field placement.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of issues impacting the organization.
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Assist in tracking and managing all outside legal claims.
  • Support the legal team with compliance-related projects and internal policy reviews.
  • Help monitor legal developments in relevant areas such as labor law, corporate governance, ADA compliance, and league regulations.
  • Provide administrative support for the Legal Department, as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned, by the Field Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current enrollment or graduated from an accredited law school.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Demonstrated interest in sports law, corporate law, employment law, intellectual property, or other relevant legal areas.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
