LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Data Analyst for a 6-12 month contract opportunity with our client in Central Illinois. We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst to support data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts.

This entry-level role is ideal for individuals beginning their data career who are eager to learn and contribute by turning data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. Responsibilities: Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources Prepare basic reports and summaries to support business needs Identify trends and patterns in data and communicate findings Assist in maintaining data accuracy and consistency Work with team members to understand business requirements Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests Document data processes and definitions Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives Oversee and assist in the manual upload of business applications, documents, and data to the new business module. The resource will assist with Project Management/Coordination related activities.

Assist the agency in credentialing reviews. Train any new state staff on the credentialing process. Develop formal SOP documentation surrounding the agencies credentialing licensing and review process'.

Audit data integrity for compliance with statutory and regulatory compliance Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in data analysis, internships, or related experience Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with data sets and identify trends Attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) Willingness to learn and grow in a data-focused role Must have 3+ years of experience with the following: M.S. Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must have experience working with M.S. Windows Applications Experience working with computer systems and data entry Must have a background in customer service and attention to detail Must have proven documentation skills Knowledge of PC components and troubleshooting steps An ability to quickly learn technology programs Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, data, or technology Exposure to working with data in academic or professional settings Understanding of basic reporting or data visualization concepts Work Environment: Collaborative, team-oriented environment Opportunity for learning, mentorship, and skill development The base range for this contract position is $30 - $55 per hour, depending on experience
