Job description

Provalus is seeking a Data Quality Specialist to support U.S.-based data capture and data entry services for healthcare documents that cannot be fully processed through AI, OCR, or other automated tools. You will manually review, classify, validate, and accurately enter data into the client's designated systems in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, security requirements, and confidentiality obligations.


All resources must work 40 hours a week and 8 hours per day (9 hour shift), but have flexibility on working those hours between 9am and 7p. For example, someone can work between 9-5 or 10-7 as long as they have a consistent schedule of working 8 hours a day. Also an option for up to 10 hours of OT as well depending on the volume of work.


This role requires precision and speed in equal measure: you will work with a constant supply of document images, applying strong attention to detail and typing accuracy to keep pace with a fast-moving production environment while safeguarding sensitive health information at every step.

THE JOB

Responsibilities include:

Data Entry: Accurately enter data into the QuickClaim system using a constant supply of document images.

Document Classification: Identify document types based on the provided documentation.

Quality Verification: Review and verify entered data meets or exceeds quality requirements.

Confidentiality: Ensure all Personal Health Information (PHI) is kept confidential, following HIPAA standards.

Collaboration: Professionally interact with other staff as needed.

Process Improvement: Make recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes.

Task Completion: Work until all tasks are completed for the day.

Additional Duties: Perform other basic office duties as assigned.


Role Requirements include:

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.

Ability to work onsite at the Provalus office. No remote positions are available currently.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to multitask and move quickly.

• Ability to stay focused and on-task.

• High attention to detail while being efficient.

• Quick learner, with the ability to follow basic or difficult instructions when needed.

• Required to maintain confidentiality of client data.

• Must be able to read and speak English.

• WPM Typing Test: 50 WPM @ 95% accuracy.

• KPH Typing Test: 4,500 KPH @ 95% accuracy.

• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in data entry, medical records, or healthcare documentation.

• Familiarity with claims processing or systems similar to QuickClaim.

• Experience working in an environment governed by HIPAA or similar confidentiality requirements.

• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
