FanDuel is looking for a Data Analyst to support our recently established Generosity Intelligence team. In this role you will be responsible for performance analytics, reporting and data analysis across all areas of our Sportsbook generosity campaigns. Using your numerical skills, analytical mindset and technological capabilities, you will play a key role in understanding the impact and effectiveness of our spend.

  • Deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, and customer segmentation to help enhance visibility into the performance of our generosity campaigns.
  • Analyze customer behavior and promotional engagement to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct exploratory analyses and develop hypotheses that support ongoing optimization of generosity initiatives.
  • Support campaign measurement efforts by maintaining reporting, validating data quality, and contributing to performance evaluations.
  • Leverage AI to accelerate and enhance your work, taking care to ensure high integrity, managing AI risk of error, and maintaining excellent understanding of AI output to avoid blind trust.
  • Demonstrate accurate insights using easy to interpret visualizations and clear explanations of results, recommendations, methods, biases and limitations.
  • Take responsibility to learn the necessary skills and techniques, in order to work with independence, integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively identify new value add projects and areas for improvement to support their strategic objectives.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 1+ years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in SQL & Microsoft Excel with experience of manipulating large datasets
  • Knowledge of at least one statistical or programming language a plus, ideally Python
  • Undergraduate degree in a numerate or technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau an advantage
  • Interest in sports an advantage
  • Interest or experience in the sports betting industry is an advantage
  • Ability to, on rare occasions, support critical business needs outside of normal business hours

The applicable salary range for this position is $90,000 - $112,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
