Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Qualifications:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Administering physical fitness assessments utilizing gait analysis tools and mechanical sensing systems; analyzing human performance data to make recommendations for executing projects related to health, sport, athlete and/or tactical performance; AND writing sport and strength-conditioning programs based on performance data outcomes.

Basic Requirement:
  • Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(external link) at the time the degree was obtained.
In lieu of the specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, you may qualify for the position based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
  • I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR
  • I have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
