Job description

Launch Your Career with a Major Global Bank | Paid Training Included

About Revature

Revature builds and deploys high-performing engineering talent for enterprise clients. We help early-career engineers launch their careers on real projects with leading organizations.

The role

Break into a major global bank's engineering team in Tampa, no prior job experience or specific degree required. Revature hires you as a paid employee, trains you on a modern full-stack stack, and prepares you to earn a spot on the client's engineering team through a hands-on coding workshop.

If you've got real coding ability and the drive to level up fast, we'll help you do the rest.

What you'll do

You'll be trained and working as a full-stack engineer using:

  • Front end: React (with HTML/CSS)
  • Back end: Python
  • Database: PostgreSQL

You don't need all of these yet. If you have strong fundamentals and can code, our paid training gets you the rest.

What we're looking for

  • You can already code and have solid programming fundamentals (a coding assessment is part of selection)
  • You've built something, whether through projects, school, a bootcamp, or work, not just studied theory
  • Comfortable in at least one modern language; Python is a strong plus
  • Any exposure to React, databases, or Git is a plus, but we'll train you on the full stack
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident)
  • Willing to work on-site in Tampa, FL (local candidates and those open to relocating are both welcome; we provide relocation and travel support for eligible candidates)

Why it’s worth it

  • Paid from day one, you're a paid Revature employee while you train, not paying for a bootcamp
  • $50,000 starting salary on placement, rising to $60,000 at one year, with continued structured increases
  • A real path into a leading global bank's engineering organization
  • Medical benefits, paid time off, and 401(k)
  • Mentorship from experienced engineers

How it works

Revature hires you as a paid associate and trains you for the role. Your spot on the client's team is earned through your performance in training and the workshop.

Location

This role is on-site in Tampa, FL, five days a week. Tampa-area candidates are ideal, but we welcome applicants from elsewhere who are open to being in Tampa. We provide relocation assistance and cover travel and lodging for out-of-town candidates during the selection process.

Equal Opportunity Employer
