How will you make an impact?
As an Electrical Engineer I, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and integration of electronic and electrical systems that support critical defense and aerospace applications. Working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure innovative, reliable, and high-quality products are developed to meet customer and mission requirements.
What will you do?
  • Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits, components, and systems for aerospace and defense products.
  • Support hardware development activities, including prototype assembly, testing, and validation.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic hardware, circuit boards, and prototypes.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations to verify design performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, reports, and engineering records.
  • Support the integration of electrical and electronic systems into larger aerospace and defense platforms.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing personnel, and project managers to achieve project objectives.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input regarding system performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, quality procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with emerging technologies and engineering best practices.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:
  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field required.
  • Additional technical certifications or coursework in electronics, embedded systems, or design software are a plus.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Experience:
  • Entry-level position; relevant academic projects, internships, co-op experience, or technical laboratory experience are preferred.
  • Experience with electronics testing, troubleshooting, or hardware development is beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Understanding of fundamental electrical and electronic engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, circuits, and electrical system design.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with electronics laboratory testing and validation procedures.
