As a Staff Software Engineer, you will contribute to the evolution of a mission-critical MRI software platform built on a modern, microservices-based architecture that supports the next generation of intelligent, connected MR workflows.
This role supports SIGNA™ One, our AI-driven workflow platform designed to simplify MRI from planning and setup through scanning and beyond. SIGNA One delivers fast scans, effortless setup, and high clinical confidence through intelligent automation and a patient-first experience.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software components within a defined area of the product. You will work closely with senior engineers and product partners to deliver high-quality features while building your technical capabilities and system understanding.
Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Participate in technical discussions and design sessions, contributing ideas within established direction
  • Assist in translating product requirements into technical solutions for assigned components
  • Develop working knowledge of assigned modules, including key dependencies and data flows
  • Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes following established architecture and coding standards
  • Support the implementation of interfaces and data exchange between modules based on defined designs
  • Apply standard testing practices, including unit and basic integration testing, to ensure code quality
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve output and maintainability
  • Identify and resolve straightforward performance or reliability issues within owned components
  • Collaborate with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver on commitments
  • Document technical changes and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 1 year of software development experience

Desired Characteristics
  • Frontend development experience using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience developing software on Windows and Unix/Linux-based systems
  • Proficiency with Java/JEE, Spring Boot/Spring, and Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Experience with development and CI/CD tools including BDD/Cucumber, Git, Artifactory, Gradle/Maven, Docker, and Jenkins
