Responsibilities Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analysis for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Specific Job Description Conduct technical analysis to support customers making informed decisions that optimize performance of large, complex systems. Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models to perform detailed technical analysis. Review and interpret system performance specifications to ensure simulations and models are accurately evaluating desired performance. Review, evaluate, and interpret analysis results and present them to customers with recommended courses of action. Tools, models, and data evaluation are typically performed with combinations of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, R, or similar platforms. Qualifications Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science or similar technical discipline with 0-2 years of experience.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
* High degree of computer literacy with ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools.
* Competence/experience in one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
* Strong analysis skills, with the ability to identify and accurately describe system issues.
* Ability to write and speak confidently, articulately, and clearly to participate in and brief at technical meetings.
