Eaglecrest Ski Area - Alaska's Best Kept Secret is Hiring!

We are looking for qualified individuals to fill our Eaglecrest Ski Lift Operator positions. We are looking for enthusiastic outdoor guest service-oriented people who are willing to work in an outdoor environment all day. You should enjoy being around other skiers and snowboarders creating a friendly upbeat atmosphere at the ski lift station. Ski or snowboard experience is a bonus.

The Lift Operations Team is a fun group that has an opportunity to experience many different parts of the mountain. Those that have ski and snowboard experience will to able to ski or snowboard in between lift stations throughout the day. You will receive discounts in the cafeteria, retail shop, rental shop and on ski lessons.

You will be working in various location around Eaglecrest Ski Area at 3000 Fish Creek Road Wednesday through Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Weekends and holidays are mandatory. Overtime pay will be possible during holiday weeks.

You will be responsible for safely operating the ski lifts. This will include maintaining daily operational logbooks maintaining orderly passenger traffic by setting up and taking down lift line mazes. You will be shoveling snow onto and off loading and unloading ramps to main a smooth consistent grade. Ensure that all passengers have proper ski lift tickets by monitoring the RFID ticketing gates. Clearly communicate with guests instructing them when to approach the ski lift for loading.

Other: Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions while being on their feet for a continuous period, and be physically able to shovel snow for extended periods of time.
