These roles are often found in industries like manufacturing, logistics, or customer service, where employees operate machinery, perform data entry, or handle customer inquiries while seated. Employers may provide on-the-job training, making these positions a good starting point for individuals new to the workforce. Responsibilities vary by industry but generally include repetitive tasks, organization, and attention to detail.
