Job description

The Slip Sheet Operator is responsible for operating a forklift with a push-pull attachment to load, unload, and transport products using slip sheets. This position ensures the accurate movement of materials while maintaining product integrity, inventory accuracy, and compliance with all warehouse safety standards.


Schedule: 6am-2:30pm


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift equipped with a push-pull attachment to move products on slip sheets.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to designated warehouse locations.
  • Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Verify product quantities and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Stack, store, and organize materials according to warehouse procedures.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment and report maintenance issues.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a slip sheet (push-pull) forklift required.
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
