Job description

We are seeking a NICET Level II Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm and life safety systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, strong knowledge of NFPA codes, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, program, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
  • Perform routine inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72 standards
  • Diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Complete and maintain accurate service reports and documentation
  • Ensure systems meet code compliance and AHJ requirements
  • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory

Required Qualifications

  • NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience
  • Working knowledge of:
