Job description

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily outbound shipping operations for both domestic and international deliveries to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role manages international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and required certifications, while working closely with carriers and freight forwarders to support export declarations, AES filings, customs clearance, and shipment execution. The Senior Associate, Logistics prioritizes and distributes daily shipping workload, monitors carrier performance, resolves delays and issues, and maintains accurate shipping records for audit and performance tracking. Working cross functionally with Shipping, Customer Service, Sales, Trade Compliance, and other teams, the Senior Associate, Logistics plays a critical role in supporting customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.


M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm


  • Coordinate and oversee daily outbound shipping activities for domestic and international shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
  • Prepare and manage all required international shipping documentation, commercial shipping invoices, packing lists, and required certifications (e.g., certificates of origin, certificates of conformance).
  • Coordinate documentation and shipment details with freight forwarders and carriers to support export declarations, AES filings, customs clearance, and delivery execution.
  • Communicate directly with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pickups, monitor transit, resolve delays, and track late-day shipments and late carrier pickups.
  • Distribute and prioritize shipping workload throughout the day to meet operational deadlines and departmental objectives.
  • Work closely with Shipping, Customer Service Group, Sales, Trade Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable U.S. and international shipping regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily shipping logs, documentation retention, and records to support audits and performance tracking.
  • Monitor carrier responsiveness and performance; escalate issues as necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
