Assistant IT Administrator (Entry-Level)

Summary:
Psychiatric Medical Practice with offices in Phoenixville and Eagleville is looking to hire an entry-level Assistant IT Administrator to handle day-to-day IT support in a busy office environment. This role requires someone dependable who follows through, stays organized, and takes responsibility for resolving issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to staff IT requests (computers, printers, logins, Wi-Fi) in a timely manner
  • Set up and configure new users, devices, and email accounts
  • Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and equipment checks
  • Track IT assets and keep records accurate and up to date
  • Identify recurring issues and help prevent them
  • Escalate complex problems when needed—with clear documentation

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, or equivalent preferred.
  • 1–2 years of IT support or administrative experience
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related network services (e.g., DNS,DHCP, etc.)
    • Application support experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft SQL preferred.
    • Office 365, PHP Website and Wordpress Administration.
    • Computer virtualization; Hyper-V.
    • Information and data backup principles.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
    • Ability to manage multiple requests without losing track
    • Clear communication and professionalism with staff
    • Consistent follow-through—tasks are expected to be completed.
