Summary:The Front Desk Concierge plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for condominium residents in Toronto, Ontario. This entry-level position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing resident inquiries, and maintaining security protocols. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively address the needs of residents and guests.Responsibilities: Identifies and clarifies residents' needs and desires; answers questions; gives directions and instructions; develops inventories of services. Manages and screens messages. Works independently with minimal supervision. Assists in investigations and tape/log reviews for any unusual incidents. Helps Property Manager with special requests, including administrative work and mailings. Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills. Monitors the Emergency Response System. Greets and directs residents, guests, and invitees. Monitors and controls Electronic Security Control Systems. Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner within 2 hours of notification. Monitors and controls access to the building. Maintains daily logs, records, and forms. Resolves and follows up on all complaints/issues. Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property. Improves services by obtaining and evaluating resident observations, opinions, and criticisms. Maintains guest privacy and organizational reputation by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks. Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Follows safety and access control procedures and maintains a safe work environment. Qualifications: Must have a valid Ontario Security Licence. Must have a valid CPR & First Aid Certificate. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency response protocols.
