Job Overview:

As an Entry-Level Service Advisor with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are often the first and most consistent point of contact for our guests. You play an important role in creating a welcoming, trustworthy experience by assisting guests when they need help with their vehicle and supporting the service team throughout the day.

This position is designed as a growth opportunity for someone eager to learn the automotive service industry. The primary responsibilities include safely picking up and delivering guests using our branded shuttle, answering incoming phone calls, and helping build strong guest relationships through friendly, professional communication. As experience and confidence grow, this role offers a clear path to developing into a Service Advisor, with hands-on exposure to guest communication, service processes, and shop operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide safe, courteous shuttle service for guests, including timely pickup and delivery using a branded Christian Brothers Automotive vehicle

  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn automotive repair terminology, service processes, and guest service best practices

  • Greet guests and assist with checking guests in and out in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with scheduling guest appointments

  • Treat every guest with the utmost respect, consistently reflecting the Christian Brothers Automotive mission and values

  • Assist the shop with receiving, processing, and delivering incoming and outgoing parts, as well as running errands as needed

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility

  • Support team members with clerical tasks such as filing paperwork and assisting with accounts receivable when needed

  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in guest service activities based on daily workflow and priorities

  • Serve as a community ambassador by building authentic relationships and partnerships on behalf of the store

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guests
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Meet the required insurance driving record parameters
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a Team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
  • Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
