Security Patrol Officer – San Diego $21.95/hr

Schedule:

Saturday – Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Tuesday – Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Wednesday: 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Vehicle Patrol Officer to conduct scheduled vehicle patrols and hourly checks throughout assigned locations in San Diego. Officers assigned to this position are expected to maintain a visible and professional security presence while supporting site safety and daily operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine vehicle patrols throughout assigned locations
  • Conducting property inspections and perimeter checks
  • Reporting incidents, hazards, suspicious activity, or maintenance concerns
  • Responding to dispatch calls and security-related issues
  • Addressing trespassing or transient activity when necessary in accordance with company policy
  • Completing Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports accurately and professionally

Requirements

  • Valid BSIS Guard Card and Driver’s License (must be current)
  • Must be 25 years of age or older (per company insurance policy)
  • 2–3 years of prior vehicle patrol experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and remain on patrol route
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using smartphones and mobile reporting applications
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
