Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Safety Specialist to support our workplace health and safety programs. The Safety Specialist will assist in promoting a safe work environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting inspections, and supporting employee safety initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
  • Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
  • Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
  • Participate in safety audits and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Assist with the delivery of employee safety training and orientation programs.
  • Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning.
  • Communicate safety policies and procedures to employees and contractors.
  • Assist leadership in developing and implementing safety improvement initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Minor travel required (approximately 20%), with no weekend travel expected.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
