To thrive as an Entry Level Roofing professional, you need basic knowledge of roofing materials, physical stamina, and comfort working at heights, often with a high school diploma or GED required. As an Entry Level Roofing worker, you'll assist with removing old roofing material, carrying and organizing supplies, measuring and cutting roofing materials, and helping to install shingles, tiles, or other roofing systems under the supervision of experienced roofers. You may also help with cleaning up debris from job sites and performing basic maintenance on tools and equipment. The role often involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and collaborating closely with a team to meet project deadlines. This hands-on experience is an excellent way to build foundational skills and understanding of roofing methods, paving the way for advancement within the trade.
An Entry Level Roofing job involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs under the supervision of experienced roofers. Responsibilities typically include carrying materials, removing old roofing, cleaning work areas, and learning basic roofing techniques. No prior experience is usually required, but physical stamina and the ability to work at heights are important. YOUR DAY
As our entry-level Sales Representative, you'll spend your days canvassing different neighborhoods around the area, engaging with potential customers, and increasing interest in our high-quality roofing, remodeling, and restoration services. You'll work independently, so time management skills and problem-solving abilities are a must.
Always polite and professional, you'll engage with homeowners, learn about their remodeling needs, and perform roof inspections to get a firsthand look at their situation. You'll explain to customers what we can do for them and encourage them to book a service. As you make sales, you'll track your progress and adjust strategies as needed to close more deals!
YOUR HOURS
You'll work Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Depending on the season, you may also need to work Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
