The Role
The Weld Robot Operator will develop new programs, train the robot, troubleshoots welding issues and will be responsible for robot up time. This position will also involve some manual fabrication, grinding, finishing, and quality verification.

Responsibilities

  • Experience programming, fine tuning, and managing robotic welders
  • Responsible for Robot Welder Up Time, Track daily production build counts and flow
  • Weld a variety of steel structures per CAD print requirements
  • Build complete assemblies from start to finish including grinding and finishing
  • Read and understand product schematics and verify dimensions
  • Use a variety of manufacturing tools per job specifications
  • Ensure quality control standards are met on every build
  • Adhere to all safety standards

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of production welding and assembly workflows
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut-off saws, and grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD prints and product schematics
  • Self-motivated and responsive to production metrics
  • Team player who puts the group's success first
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Minimum 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience
  • Minimum 1+ year working on a robotic welder
  • Preferably Experience with OTC Robotic Welders
