Description:

Harsh International, a leading manufacturer of livestock feed equipment and hydraulic hoists since 1948, is seeking a Robotic Welding Operator to join our team in Eaton, CO.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor robotic welding systems to weld components to specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to adjust and program robotic welders.
  • Learn processes via on-the-job training (OJT) with other robot welders and programmers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
  • Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Track inventory of welding materials and components.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in all aspects of work.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize welding processes.

Requirements:


  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1+ year of welding experience; robotic welding experience preferred (entry/junior level candidates will be considered).
  • Desire to learn PLC programming; existing PLC experience a plus.
  • Basic understanding of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to work in a manufacturing environment, including ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
