Job description

Company Information: Creating Change, LLC is an agency working with high-risk youths and their
families in the Northern New Jersey area. Our mission is to help children and their parents through a
therapeutic approach to increase their understanding of their family dynamics in order to address mental
health and family conflicts. We currently work with child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health,
disability, primary health care, and education systems to develop and offer community-based alternatives
for the highest risk children and families.
Creating Change is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Intensive In-Community (IIC)
Clinicians
to join our team! This is an independent contractor per-diem position providing in-home
therapeutic services to youth and their families in the Counties of Passaic, Morris, and Sussex.
As an IIC Clinician, you will provide face-to-face, goal-oriented interventions to youth experiencing
emotional and behavioral challenges. Our services are designed to stabilize and support youth in their
homes and communities while equipping them with the skills needed for long-term success. You will
collaborate with the Care Managers by participating in Child and Family Team (CFT) Meetings and
other supports to create individualized, solution-focused treatment plans that promote growth and
resilience.
What You’ll Do:
  •  Deliver in home/in the community psychotherapy, coping skills training, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and stress management techniques to youth and families.
  • Work one-on-one with youth and caregivers to build a strengths-based approach to treatment.
  • Support youth in reducing symptoms, improving daily functioning, and restoring emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each youth’s unique needs.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of all services provided.
  • Collaborate with referral sources, caregivers, and community supports to ensure a holistic approach to care.

What You Need:
  • Active New Jersey License: LAC, LSW, or LMFT.
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License and insured vehicle (clean driving record required).
  •  Ability to pass a background check.
  • Experience working with youth and families in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to participate in bi-weekly supervision and ongoing professional development.
  •  Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
