Job description

Position Summary...As an Analyst, Business Analysis and Insights, you will help protect Sam's Club's eCommerce business by investigating chargeback claims, evaluating fraud risk, and supporting payment dispute resolution efforts. This role plays a key part in protecting members, reducing financial losses, and recovering revenue through data-driven decision making and collaboration with financial institutions.
About the Team
The Asset Protection Omni-Fraud, Investigations, and Risk Mitigation team helps protect Sam's Club's eCommerce business by identifying and addressing fraud across online orders, payment activity, chargebacks, and returns. The team partners with internal business stakeholders and financial institutions to investigate suspicious activity, reduce financial losses, and support a safe and trusted member experience. Through data-driven decision making and fraud investigations, the team plays a direct role in protecting revenue and improving business performance.What you'll do...Reports to: Director, eCommerce Fraud Strategy
  • Review chargeback claims and order activity to determine whether disputes should be accepted or challenged based on fraud risk and available evidence.
  • Investigate online transactions and analyze account, order, and payment information to support fraud and risk-related decisions.
  • Compile and submit evidence packages to financial institutions to support chargeback representments and maximize recovery opportunities.
  • Partner with fraud, investigations, and returns teams to identify trends, mitigate losses, and improve fraud prevention efforts.
  • Meet productivity and quality goals while supporting a positive member experience and protecting business performance.
