Description and Requirements
General Description: Assist Account Managers in completing client tasks, meeting retention goals, and supporting growth for Select Commercial Lines clients up to $15,000 in revenue. Develop client service skills and technical insurance product knowledge through available educational and agency resources.
Responsibilities:
  • Review and process client policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate auto id's cards upon request.
  • Maintain accurate information in agency management systems.
  • Request information from insurance carriers such as loss runs and endorsement changes.
  • Process renewal certificates and insurance holder updates.
  • Assist with online carrier rating and endorsement process.
  • Assist in preparation of summary of insurance documents and finance agreements, as needed.
  • Support Account Manager in preparing documents for client renewals.
  • Invoice policies, including complex invoicing as assigned.
  • Responsible for carrier service center book of business and escalations to Account Manager.
  • Maintain regional mailbox and direct emails to appropriate resources.
  • Active engagement and participation in training with emphasis on gaining knowledge necessary to perform Account Manager role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Entry-level position, minimum 1+ years Commercial Lines experience.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Must hold Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, be detailed, and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and continue professional development.
  • Open to feedback, coaching, and development.
