Position Overview

Are you eager to start your career in insurance administration and make a tangible impact across multiple companies? CRH Americas Materials is seeking a motivated Insurance Administrator to join our team and support vendor insurance compliance and risk management activities.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Review vendor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to ensure they meet company and contract standards.
  • Monitor insurance coverage details and policy expiration dates using our internal systems.
  • Verify essential insurance coverages including General Liability, Auto Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Umbrella/Excess Liability.
  • Assist with reviewing insurance endorsements such as Additional Insured and Waiver of Subrogation, following established procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, brokers, and internal teams to request and obtain accurate insurance documentation.
  • Support the vendor onboarding process by confirming insurance requirements are satisfied before work begins.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready insurance records and documentation.
  • Contribute to compliance reporting, audits, and special projects to enhance our risk management processes.
  • Grow your proficiency in departmental systems and software used for vendor management and compliance tracking.
  • Help maintain standardized insurance templates, checklists, and procedures for consistency and efficiency.
  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks related to insurance compliance and risk management.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Associate’s degree preferred in business, finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field. Equivalent experience welcomed.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of administrative, compliance, insurance, or office experience. Exposure to COIs, vendor documentation, or contract support is a plus—but not required.
  • Background: Experience in construction, materials, manufacturing, or operational environments is a bonus.
  • Skills:
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to follow processes and proactively seek clarification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Talent for managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
