Job description

Are you passionate about pioneering innovations in the semiconductor industry? At Falcomm, we are on a mission to transform semiconductor technologies into tangible, real-world solutions. We specialize in crafting energy-efficient RF products that set the standard for excellence in performance. As an RFIC Test Engineer, you will perform tests on Power Amplifiers, LNAs, and other circuits on-chip. Additional responsibilities will include developing test methodologies, documenting test and calibration procedures, and automating test processes. Your role will be instrumental in characterizing and validating products that not only meet but exceed our customers' expectations.
We need a BSEE or MSEE with at least two years of experience in RF/mmWave Test and Characterization of compound semiconductors and/or silicon integrated circuits up to 100GHz in frequency range. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects, and is motivated by the challenge of creating real-world applications of semiconductor innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform on-chip electrical testing of power amplifiers, LNAs, and other RFICs
  • Set up the RF test bench for measurements and conduct manual on-wafer/on-die probing
  • RFIC device characterization and performance measurements
  • Design RF PCBs for RFIC products and internal use
  • Analyze test data and prepare characterization reports
  • Automate RFIC testing through scripting
  • Validate setups by comparing setup performance to a standard

Requirements
  • BS or MS in electrical engineering or related technical field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in RF and mmWave testing and characterization of compound semiconductor and/or silicon-based integrated circuits.
  • Skilled in manual on-die probing and test setup configuration, including calibration, measurement automation, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with operation and/or programming of on-wafer test equipment such as network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Understanding of RF theory and standard test practices.
  • Must be willing to work on-site full-time at our office in Atlanta, GA

Preferred skills:
  • Experience performing HTOL and temperature testing
  • Experience with built-in self-test methods
  • Experience scripting in python and/or MATLab for measurement automation
  • Experience with power amplifier and LNA measurement and characterization
  • Experience in RFIC design and characterization
