Job description

RF Power Amplifier Designer 5G

Job Description:

In the business unit RF&MW, we design transmit and receive solutions for 5G, RF Power transistors and MMICs for Aerospace and Defense applications as well as RF Energy applications. For our 5G initiative, we are looking for a junior RF Power amplifier designer. You will:

  • Be responsible for the design, test and release of new, high efficiency, highly integrated RF Power amplifiers for 5G applications, based on our GaN on Si technology.
  • Work with our package and assembly teams to come up with new and more cost-effective packaging and assembly methods.
  • Design the transistors, MMICs, IPDs or other internal matching networks, using state-of-the-art simulation tools.
  • Initiate and execute prototype builds, load-pull and thermal characterization. You design RF Power characterization fixtures and perform measurements to verify if the product meets the requirements.
  • Work with our Product Engineering group to transfer the product to production.
