Department: Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Job Title: Research Services Clinical Sciences Professional OPEN RANK (Entry - Senior) Onsite
Position #:00851340 - Requisition #: 40651
Job Summary:
The B4 Health Lab is looking for sharp, curious, and driven researchers to join our team full-time. Our work sits at the intersection of the Brain, Body, Biome, and Behavior - exploring how these systems connect to advance both physical and mental health. This is not a passive role. You'll be actively engaged with many, if not all, aspects of human subjects clinical research across multiple studies. This is a role for those that thrive in a fast-paced and detail-driven environment. You will not be bored! This is not a wet lab or bench science position.
What You'll Do
You'll actively engage in the day-to-day operations of human clinical trials and research studies from start to finish. That means you'll be the person participants trust, the one ensuring protocols are followed precisely, and the contributor who keeps studies running smoothly and compliantly. Specifically, you will.
  • Serve as Coordinator on multiple human subject research studies, mastering protocols and study documents and ensuring every procedure meets regulatory standards
  • Drive participant recruitment - from pre-screening and phone contacts to in-person interviews and eligibility confirmation
  • Guide participants through the informed consent process and coordinate all scheduling logistics, including clinical resources such as nursing, laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy
  • Collect, code, and analyze study data with precision, maintaining records in compliance with FDA requirements, IRB standards, and applicable SOPs
  • Contribute to process improvement by supporting the development of SOPs and quality assurance initiatives that make the whole team better
  • Perform data entry and quality reviews in REDCap and Excel
  • Duties and responsibilities expand and increase with each successive level or rank.
