Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs effectively.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing follow-up care to ensure quality mental health treatment.
  • Help determine a patient's appropriate care disposition, coordinating necessary referrals to access higher levels of mental health care.
  • Complete essential statistical reports and documentation to track patient outcomes and support compliance with standards of care.
  • Facilitate collaboration with the Department of Correction and other institutional programs to ensure that patients have access to appropriate housing and support services.
  • Lead group therapy sessions designed for mental health observation units, fostering a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Regularly participate in clinical supervision sessions with your Clinical Supervisor, ensuring continuous professional growth.
  • Engage in mental health rounds and actively contribute to case conferences and treatment planning initiatives.
  • Possibly conduct psychological testing and supervise social work interns or student volunteers as required.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
