• Maintain absolute confidentiality of all client information, operating in alignment with the Code of Ethics established by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, formulate treatment plans, and implement interventions under clinical supervision to support clients' mental health needs.
• Lead virtual therapy sessions and psychoeducation groups, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can express their thoughts and feelings.
• Document patient progress accurately and contemporaneously, ensuring that all records reflect treatment plans, attendance, and any notable incidents or changes in client condition.
• Engage with clients' families and support systems, facilitating communication and collaboration about treatment goals and progress.
• Stay informed about JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards, ensuring compliance and contributing to the maintenance of organizational accreditation and certification.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services, advocating for their needs, and maintaining relationships with local agencies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions to enhance service delivery and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with interns and volunteers to enrich the counseling services offered at Clear Beginning Healthcare Services.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with our organization, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your role will be pivotal in addressing their unique needs through personalized, culturally competent care. You will play a significant role in creating and fostering a therapeutic alliance that empowers clients to work towards recovery.

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• You must hold the appropriate state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Exceptional communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims is mandatory.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting or with digital therapeutic platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes and mental health regulations is preferred.
• A background in perinatal mental health is a plus.
