Our center is committed to enhancing the mental well-being of individuals, couples, families, and groups through comprehensive therapeutic services. As a vital member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of our clients by providing tailored mental health support and interventions.

About the Organization

Growth and Grace Counseling Center is a respected telehealth provider based in Hialeah, Florida. We focus on offering accessible and high-quality mental health services using advanced technology to reach our clients. Our mission is to promote mental wellness, foster resilience, and facilitate personal growth in a supportive environment. We take pride in our culturally competent approach, meeting the unique needs of a diverse clientele in the community.

Work Environment

Our work environment is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth model. This approach allows for flexibility in scheduling and the ability to connect with clients in the comfort of their own spaces. We leverage modern telecommunication tools to facilitate effective therapy sessions, ensuring that our therapists can provide care efficiently while maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of our clients. This also means that therapists are equipped to work independently, with the support of a collaborative team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to evaluate mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and collaboratively develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Manage crisis intervention efforts for clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies, deploying necessary techniques to de-escalate crises effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other mental health professionalsโ€”including psychiatrists and social workersโ€”to coordinate and enhance the clientโ€™s overall care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, acting as an advocate for their rights and well-being.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by taking part in training sessions, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to stay updated with best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clientele varies in age, background, and circumstances, providing a rich landscape for therapeutic engagement and growth.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) in the state of Florida.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field is required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and a track record of effective therapeutic interventions.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster connections with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in mental health practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but we encourage entry-level candidates with strong foundational skills to apply.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a robust benefits package, including:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.
  • Support for continuing education and professional development to advance your skills and career.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment that prioritizes work-life balance.
