Job description

What you'll do at Jamf:

The HR Operations Coordinator is an entry-level HR professional who supports HR processes, transactions, and employee services.  As part of the HR Operations team, the Coordinator will process tasks within Workday HCM, manage cases through ServiceNow HR Service Desk, and help deliver positive employee experiences while deepening their knowledge of HR best practices in a dynamic, collaborative environment. In this role, the Coordinator will leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g. Moveworks AI Assistant) and automated workflows to deliver efficient, high-quality HR services.

This role is offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN. You will be required to work periodically at the Jamf office, so we are only able to accept applications for those based in the Twin Cities metro communities. 

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Manage and respond to HR employee inquiries through ServiceNow HR Service Desk, email, and Slack messages with guidance from HR Operations team members, leveraging AI-assisted workflows and self-service tools.
  • Track, prioritize, and resolve HR service cases in ServiceNow, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
  • Process HR-related actions including data entry for employee transitions, new hire setup, and organizational changes in Workday HCM; meet established SLAs for case resolution and data accuracy.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding case tasks in ServiceNow, such as reviewing new hire paperwork, verifying I-9 documentation, organizing electronic employee files, and processing terminations. 
  • Respond to HR service requests related to HR policies, benefits, employee data changes, employment verification, audits, position descriptions, time tracking, and other questions independently; more complex cases may involve collaboration with/escalation to senior team members. 
  • Maintain organized electronic employee files and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow, and HR operations best practices.
  • Complete all assigned projects, tasks, and training requirements in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR Operations team.

What we are looking for: 

  • 1-2 years of HR, administrative, or customer service experience; internships may be included (Required)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus); comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools. (Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey empathy and professionalism across digital channels. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed work environment; strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in an additional language relevant to their primary region is strongly preferred.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience. (Required)
  • Pursuing HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
