Position Overview

Cornerstone Therapy and Wellness invites qualified individuals to apply for the role of Licensed Mental Health Counselorโ€”specifically those holding a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential mental health services remotely, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while enjoying the flexibility of a home-based work environment.

About the Organization

Cornerstone Therapy and Wellness is a family-owned and operated psychotherapy practice based in Bristol, Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on being a full-service mental health provider, offering comprehensive services that include counseling, psychiatry, psychological testing, and nutritional support. Our dedicated team is committed to fostering healthy living by partnering with our clients to deliver high-quality, individualized care that addresses their specific mental health needs.

Work Environment

As a remote employee, you will have the unique advantage of working from home while staying connected with a tight-knit team of mental health professionals. Our community health clinic setting ensures that our operations are grounded in collaboration and support. You will leverage technology to maintain effective communication with both patients and colleagues, using Simple Practice for record-keeping and case managementโ€”facilitating a streamlined and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify client mental health needs, enabling you to formulate tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals and continuously monitor their progress toward achieving these objectives.
  • Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy through the Simple Practice platform.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and nutritionists, as well as external community resources to address clients' broader needs.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in mental health practices through ongoing professional development, ensuring that your skills and knowledge are current and applicable.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. By addressing a wide range of mental health issues, you will contribute to helping clients lead healthier, more fulfilling lives through personalized counseling strategies that meet their unique needs.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Applicants must possess an active Pennsylvania clinical license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) to practice independently.
  • A minimum of two years of full-time experience providing direct mental health services is required, demonstrating your competence in the field.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential, enabling you to effectively identify mental health issues and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which will be critical in building rapport with clients and collaborating with your colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment that emphasizes shared goals and mutual support.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with teletherapy techniques and tools, enhancing the remote counseling experience for patients.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of therapeutic modalities, allowing for a person-centered approach to treatment.
  • Knowledge of community resources and local health services to better assist clients in accessing comprehensive support.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. We offer a robust benefits package, including a 401k plan with matching contributions and access to financial advisory services. Additionally, you will benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, and company-covered malpractice insurance, ensuring your peace of mind while you focus on your practice.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Cornerstone Therapy and Wellness, we believe in the continuous development of our team members. Opportunities for professional advancement and specialization are available as we often promote from within. We encourage and support ongoing education, training workshops, and attendance at relevant conferences to help you cultivate your skills and career trajectory.

Why Join Our Team

Joining our team means being part of an organization that prioritizes mental health and wellness not just for our clients, but for our staff as well. We foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment where your insights and contributions are valued. Our missionโ€”helping patients achieve optimal mental and physical healthโ€”guides our work and enriches our community. Together, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Application Information
