Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations, utilizing various diagnostic tools to determine the mental health status, strengths, and needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific goals, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to adult clients through teletherapy, ensuring a safe and supportive virtual environment.
  • Offer crisis intervention services as needed, responding promptly to urgent client situations and providing immediate support and resources.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops, training, and peer supervision, to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and ensure continuity of services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on adult clients from various backgrounds, each presenting unique mental health challenges. Our diverse caseload may include clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise will guide clients through their journey toward recovery and improved emotional well-being.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
  • Ability to maintain a compassionate, non-judgmental, and respectful therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload effectively.
  • No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience conducting teletherapy sessions, with the ability to establish rapport and trust in a virtual setting.
  • Prior work in a community health clinic or similar environment, familiar with the needs of underserved populations.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and a solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
