• Provide direct clinical services in both community and remote settings for clients, emphasizing timely assessments and treatment interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to address the common goals of enhancing mental health outcomes for students.
• Implement brief, evidence-based screenings and arrange for comprehensive assessments as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Design and execute integrated care plans that enhance access to mental health services, engaging families and educational staff in the process.
• Deliver a spectrum of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services while respecting the individual needs and preferences of clients.
• Contribute to crisis intervention efforts, demonstrating sensitivity and skill in managing immediate mental health challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring that reports and data submissions are completed in a timely manner.
• Carry an active caseload, providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Participate in quality improvement committees to enhance agency services, embracing feedback and innovative practices.

This role is focused primarily on students and young clients dealing with significant mental health issues, including serious emotional disturbances or major mental illnesses. The LCSW will promote a safe atmosphere where students feel comfortable discussing their challenges, and they will work to empower these individuals through therapy and community resources.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work; a Master’s Degree in Social Work is highly preferred.
• A valid and current state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health clinical practice, particularly in school settings or with youth populations.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, crisis intervention techniques, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Experience working within educational systems and knowledge of academic resources available to students.
• Familiarity with community resources for mental health and substance abuse services.
• Experience conducting workshops or training sessions for staff, parents, or community members on mental health awareness.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
