Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account each patient's unique cultural and personal background, fostering an understanding of their individual experiences.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored closely to the needs of your clients, focusing on their emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address diverse mental health concerns, focusing on cultivating resilience and well-being among patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care and address comprehensive treatment needs.
  • Respond to mental health emergencies by providing immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in distress.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Stay informed about new research, best practices, and evolving cultural dynamics impacting mental health therapy to deliver the highest quality of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license in the state of New York as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is essential for this role.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations sensitively and effectively.
