Entry-level employees often face challenges such as adjusting to a new city, building a social and professional network from scratch, and managing the logistics of moving while starting a new role. Many organizations offer orientation sessions, local guides, or mentorship programs to help new hires acclimate both professionally and personally.

Job description

Want to become a registered behavior technician? Look no further! We will help full certify you at no cost!
At our practice, we don't just provide ABA services - we develop professionals, transform lives, and do it all with heart.
We're looking for engaged, energetic, and committed people who are excited to grow, collaborate, and make a real difference. If you love working with children, teaching, or want to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and all who love them while having fun doing it, you might be exactly who we're looking for.
If you're new to this work, through our training you will earn a nationally recognized certification as a Registered Behavior Technician. Whether you're already certified or just starting out, this is a place where your work will be respected, your growth will be supported, and your effort will be rewarded.
What Makes Us Different?
  • Structure & Support That Actually Helps You Succeed You'll have clear protocols, consistent supervision from BCBAs, and regular feedback - not micromanagement, but infrastructure that sets you up to thrive.
  • Real Collaboration You'll work side-by-side with experienced RBTs, clinical leaders, and BCBAs in our 19,000 square foot collaborative clinic, not solo in homes.
  • Guaranteed Hours If a client cancels, we'll provide you with sub work or office work (paid at $25/hr), so your paycheck stays consistent.
  • Opportunities to Grow - Without Guesswork Our competency-based pay systemgives you clear steps to earn raises. Many of our team members go on to join our SIT (Supervisor in Training) program or take on emerging leadership roles in our growing clinic.
  • Incredible Facility = Better Sessions Our 19,000 square foot Kailua clinic includes 7,000+ square feet of strictly natural environment teaching areas, an indoor gym, a covered outdoor play area, and a water play space - giving you a wide range of engaging opportunities to connect with and teach each child.

You'll Be a Great Fit If You...
  • Are dedicated to your learners - tailoring your approach, staying fully engaged, and always keeping the child's needs front and center.
  • Bring a positive attitude and resilience - even on the hard days.
  • Have a strong professional work ethic - punctual, ethical, consistent, and dependable.
  • Communicate clearly and work well with a team - you're the kind of person others can count on.
  • Are open to feedback and continuous learning - and eager to apply what you learn right away.
  • one year

This Role May Not Be a Fit If You...
  • Prefer a low-structure or low-demand setting.
  • Want minimal supervision or limited team interaction.
  • Aren't interested in ongoing learning, feedback, and skill development.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Work 1:1 with autistic children in a clinic setting.
  • Implement ABA treatment plans under the guidance of your BCBA.
  • Collect data, update graphs, and adjust based on feedback.
  • Use engaging, play-based methods in a structured setting.Collaborate daily with teammates, share insights, and refine your approach.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay
  • Training Pay: $20/hr (non-certified) | $25/hr (already RBT certified)
  • Guaranteed Hours - sub or office work provided if clients cancel
  • PTO & Holidays: 6 paid holidays + paid Winter Break + accrued time off starting when certified
  • 401K: Company contributes 3% even if you don't
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and pharmacy (Kaiser or HMSA)
  • Insurance & Protections: Liability, disability, and worker's comp
  • Referral Bonus: Up to $500 for new team members you refer

Requirements
  • RBT Certification (or willingness to pursue during training)
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, move quickly, and engage physically with children
  • CPR/BLS, TB Clearance, Background Check, and HIPAA Compliance
  • Dedication to ABA ethics, professionalism, and ongoing training
