Job description

Radiology Ltd., is a 500-employee medical imaging organization providing World-Class Imaging to improve the health of all Southern Arizona. Radiology Ltd. is seeking a full time Imaging Support Specialist to join our team. Hours are Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This position is based off Wilmot on the east side of Tucson.

An Imaging Support Specialist is responsible for preparing imaging studies for presentation to the Radiologist and acts as a liaison between Radiology Technologists and Radiologists concerning patient images and medical information. We are seeking candidates with a strong work ethic, and we will train eligible candidates.
This full-time position ensures the quality of images and documents are gathered to provide to the Radiologist. As a key component of a successful organization, and we are looking for individuals that can thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment with the following qualities:
  • Focused and open to applying new information
  • Adaptable to change and receiving performance feedback
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Ability to multi-task with various computer applications
  • Demonstrate ability to work pro-actively and independently, as well as working with a team to produce accurate work to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:
  • Reviews quality of digital images are up to standards to electronically deliver for Radiologist to interpret.
  • Identifies and arranges images according to protocol for the Radiologist
  • Corresponds with Radiologists to resolve issues via phone or instant messaging system.
  • Review and upload paperwork into the Document Management system and PACS systems.
  • Reliable and willing to adhere to an established schedule

  • High School or GED required at the time of hiring
  • Must be able to pass a General Skills Assessment test
  • Must be computer literate, dual screen experience helpful
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
