Job description

GeoSonics, Inc., an industry leading construction consulting company, specializing in pre-construction home inspections, seismic monitoring and community outreach is seeking a full-time, entry level Field Technician to join our team at our Raleigh, North Carolina location.
As a Field Technician with GeoSonics, Inc. you will travel to various worksites, such as homes, commercial buildings and other structures to conduct pre/post blast inspections, perform on-site vibration monitoring, manage installation, test, repair and maintenance of service equipment.
Our ideal candidate has experience using video and digital cameras, is proficient in computer and technical skills, and has legible handwriting. Possesses strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Experience or degree in Construction, Geology, Earth Science or related field, preferred but not required.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Conduct detailed pre and post-blast inspections of homes, commercial buildings/other structures

  • Perform general office duties, including technical report writing and proofreading, use of office machines, and computer software, including MS Office
