Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer + Creator

Blitzy

Cambridge, MA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 29 days ago

Job description

About Blitzy
Blitzy is a Cambridge, MA based AI software development platform on a mission to revolutionize the software development life cycle by autonomously building custom software to unlock the next industrial revolution. We're transforming how enterprises build software, turning enterprise requirements into production-ready code with an agentic software development platform that can autonomously execute 80% of the quantum of software development work. We're backed by multiple tier 1 investors, and have proven success as founders of previous start-ups.
Location: Cambridge, MA (On-site)
The Role
We're hiring a full-time Developer Relations Engineer + Creator to become the on-camera face of Blitzy development. You'll create high-impact video content that connects with software developers, CTOs, and tech-forward audiences across LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms - using the Blitzy platform to demonstrate real software development in action.
Working alongside our Emmy Award-winning Head of Media, you'll self-shoot content on iPhone, produce compelling product demos, and collaborate with our dedicated editor to publish fast, high-quality content. You'll generate story ideas from customer conversations, internal strategy, and trending topics in the developer community.
You are a creator first - but with enough technical fluency to speak authentically to engineers. Whether you've shipped production code or immersed yourself deeply in dev culture, you genuinely connect with the builder audience and know how to engage them. We'll actively support you in growing your personal creator brand as part of this role.
What Success Looks Like
  • You become a recognizable voice in the developer community, authentically representing Blitzy's mission and values.
  • You create compelling video content weekly that drives engagement and builds trust with our target audience.
  • You collaborate effectively with our Head of Media and editor to maintain high production standards while moving fast.
  • You translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging stories that resonate with developers.
  • You build genuine connections with the developer community through authentic, valuable content.
  • You stay ahead of platform trends and content formats to maximize reach and engagement.
  • You contribute to building both the Blitzy brand and your own creator presence in the tech space.
  • You demonstrate technical credibility by actually using and understanding the tools you're showcasing.
  • You generate story ideas that align with business goals while genuinely serving the audience's interests.

Areas of Ownership
  • Content Creation: Produce original video content weekly using iPhone and screen recording tools.
  • On-Camera Presence: Serve as the primary face of Blitzy across all video platforms.
  • Technical Storytelling: Transform customer insights, product updates, and dev trends into compelling narratives.
  • Community Engagement: Build authentic relationships with developers, CTOs, and the broader tech community.
  • Brand Development: Contribute to Blitzy's content strategy while growing your personal brand.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Media, editor, and founding team to align content with business objectives.

Required Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a content creator, preferably with on-camera work in tech or developer-related topics.
  • Strong camera presence - confident, clear, and authentically engaging.
  • Technical fluency - ability to understand development workflows, write software, and use AI tools effectively.
  • Proficiency with iPhone content creation and screen recording tools (Loom, Screen Studio, Descript, etc.).
  • Genuine passion for developer tools, AI technology, and storytelling.
  • Ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly, and work independently.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content optimization (LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Experience turning technical concepts into accessible, engaging content.

What Makes You Stand Out
  • You've grown your own audience or channel in the tech/developer space.
  • You have experience working with startups, AI tools, or developer communities.
  • You've created viral, high-retention, or educational tech content.
  • You have a portfolio demonstrating both technical credibility and storytelling ability.
  • You understand the developer mindset and can speak their language authentically.
  • You have experience with live streaming or real-time content creation.
  • You've collaborated with technical teams on content that drives measurable business results.

What Makes This Role Different
This isn't a marketing role where you write blog posts from a distance. You'll be the face of one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the country - building in public, using the product live, and engaging directly with the developers who represent the future of software. You'll work side-by-side with an Emmy Award-winning media lead and have direct access to founders and Fortune 500 customers for authentic, compelling stories.
We will actively invest in growing your personal creator brand alongside Blitzy's - your success is our success. If you've been waiting for the rare role that combines technical credibility, creative freedom, and real company impact, this is it.
Our Culture
Who we are:
Led by two pioneering co-founders we are one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S., creating our own category of enterprise autonomous software development. We automate thousands of hours of software development for our customers, which includes strong representation within the Fortune 500.
