Join Our Team

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to support our purchasing and materials operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level purchasing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a career in supply chain, procurement, and operations.

The Buyer I will be responsible for supporting purchasing activities, shipping and receiving functions, inventory coordination, and data entry. This role also includes occasional local pickup and delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with purchasing materials, supplies, and services required for company operations.
  • Create and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, deliveries, and order status.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying deliveries and documenting receipts.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain inventory and purchasing information.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Pick up and deliver materials as required.
  • Maintain organized documentation and procurement records.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies related to orders, shipments, and invoices.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in purchasing, buying, shipping and receiving, logistics, inventory control, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Costpoint.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or government contracting environment.
