What You’ll Do (The Day-to-Day)
Consult & Design:Â Partner with customers to understand their unique challenges, design custom pump systems, and recommend exact product specifications.
Drive the Deal:Â Prepare accurate, competitive technical quotes and proposals that win business.
Problem Solve:Â Act as the go-to technical troubleshooter for pump products and system issues.
Own the Process: Manage the full sales cycle—from entering data and processing orders efficiently to managing logistics in QuickBooks.
Vendor Champion:Â Coordinate directly with suppliers and vendors to track product availability, ensure on-time delivery, and keep operations running seamlessly.

The Educational Blueprint: A background or degree in Civil Engineering (or a related engineering discipline) is highly preferred.
The Fundamentals:Â EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is a major plus.
The X-Factor: Prior experience with pump systems/fluid dynamics and familiarity with QuickBooks will immediately move your resume to the top of the pile.
The Baseline:Â Entry-level experience in technical sales, customer support, or engineering operations.
The Vibe:Â Sharp data-entry skills, laser-focused attention to detail, and a knack for explaining complex technical concepts to non-engineers.
