Position Summary
The Subcontracts Coordinator / Technician is an entry-level role responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to the Subcontracts Department. This position supports the creation, maintenance, and reporting of subcontract-related activities while developing knowledge of subcontracting policies, systems, and procedures.
This is a fully onsite position supporting the Commonwealth LNG (CWLNG) Project near Lake Charles, Louisiana. Working onsite is a condition of employment. If you are not willing or able to work onsite in Louisiana, please do not apply. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain subcontract files and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain subcontract filing systems and coordinate with central document control.
  • Assist with vendor setup processes, including coordination of pre-qualification requirements.
  • Support subcontract managers and administrators with subcontractor invoice issues.
  • Enter and manage purchase order (PO) change orders in Oracle systems.
  • Assist with subcontract close-out activities and documentation.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and report subcontract-related expenditure data.
  • Provide analytical support and generate reports as required.
  • Prepare documents for publication in accordance with subcontract procedures.
  • Maintain correspondence logs, including memos, letters, and meeting minutes.
  • Format and publish subcontract-related reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for internal and subcontractor meetings.

Compliance / Operational Responsibilities
  • Ensure subcontract documentation is maintained in compliance with company procedures and standards.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of subcontract records and reporting data.
  • Support adherence to subcontracting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain Management preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing or supply chain concepts preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to complete tasks independently.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems or similar ERP tools.
  • Experience supporting subcontract or procurement functions.
