Job description

Environmental Health Investigations, Inc. (EHI) is a rapidly growing Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Health Testing professional firm. We conduct investigations, develop remedial designs and monitor remedial actions in the New Jersey, New York State and Pennsylvania region.

This position involves a combination of field work and telecommuting.


We are seeking entry level Environmental Specialists (E-1). We will train the right person. Advancement to Environmental Specialist (E-2) after one year and Project Manager (PM-1) after 2+ years.

The position involves assisting with surveys, overseeing and designing remediation projects and writing scientific reports. Paid training.


Responsibilities

  • Assisting with Asbestos, Lead Paint, Mold and PCB inspections and remediation oversight.
  • Assisting with Legionella Investigations, Environmental Property Assessments and Indoor Air Quality Investigations.
  • Assisting with Excavation Monitoring, Concrete Characterization Sampling and Community Air Monitoring
  • Maintain project logs, chain of custody, field monitoring sheets and generate reports.
  • Develop skills to manage projects and be client-facing.


Qualifications

  • We are looking for responsible individuals who can work independently.
  • Must have own transportation and a valid drivers license.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or experience in the industry.
  • Must be a team player.
  • 90% of our work is either in the field or telecommuting.
