What you will earn:

$26.00-$34.00hr depending on experience

*Accepting entry level positions with the ability to learn more skills. Entry level positions start at $24hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Roofer with Torch down and TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) systems for both commercial and residential projects. As a key member of our team, you will lead by example, overseeing flat-roof installations, mentoring crew members and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs torch down and cold process methods to various roofing systems
  • Inspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairs
  • Clean rooftops by removing leaves, ice and other debris
  • Use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers and electric spraying tools
  • Load/unload roofing materials in truck

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in propane torch applications, TPO heat-welding, and hybrid Torch down TPO systems.
  • Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads
  • Previous experience in roofing, construction, or related scope of work
  • Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years roofing experience, Torch down, modified bitumen and TPO single-ply installations/repairs
  • High school education or GED
  • Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Spray coating experience a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly wear gloves, hard hats, safety goggles, or earplugs, depending on the job
  • Are sometimes exposed to hot or cold temperatures when working outdoors
  • Able to lift 40 pounds
  • Climb a ladder safely
